9 Call for Submissions – Be a Contributor to Groundwork!

Call for submissions for contributions to the Groundwork publication is open from September – February annually.

Submissions can be directed to Christine Miller – cmiller@tru.ca,  or Stephanie Forgacs – abemetrovan@gmail.com.  Submissions should be accompanied by a professional photo and short bio.

Groundwork will give publication preference to submission that align with the following:

• Best practices in adult basic education
• Indigenization
• Wellness in higher education
• Scholarship of teaching and learning
• Open educational resources
• Rural and remote programming
• Student support
• Use of technology in teaching and learning

Your submission may be in the following formats:

• Teaching short – no more than 500 words about a teaching strategy, specific lesson, or teaching/learning tool that was successful
• Full length story – 1000-3000 words on a topic of your choice related to the field of ABE.  Please include images/graphics for your story
• Advertisement – Groundwork welcomes advertisements from education and education-adjacent groups/organizations.
• Sponsorship – sponsorship of Groundwork is very welcomed and will be recognized in our sponsor section with attribution, your logo, and link to your website
